We learn. Together.

At The Tea Room, we believe every woman is created with dignity, purpose, and potential. We show the love of Jesus by providing a community based on mutual learning! Our focus is on trauma informed educational opportunity for immigrant women from around the world as they rebuild their lives in Charlotte, North Carolina — job training, trauma care, case management and community support. Our programming will be launching in June of 2026. Reach out to admin@thetearoom.org to learn more!

Our Approach

Education. Together – Sharing life’s joys and sorrows, we foster intentional mutality. Both students and teachers learn and grow together, from each other.

Community & Mentorship – We connect women to mentors, churches, and employers who will support their long-term success.

Christ-Centered Care – We model the compassion and servant-hearted love of Jesus in every interaction.

Hands-On Job Training – From sewing and textiles to business skills and digital literacy, we prepare women for stable employment.

Holistic Support – Trauma-informed care, English practice, and life skills classes help women flourish in all areas of life.
